Our Man....

Our little man is six months old.

It makes me a little bit weepy to say it out loud.

He is the most precious gift I have ever been given.

I'm not naming any names.

But someone who lives in our house had his 1/2 birthday on Saturday.....

It's kind of a big deal.

I even made a two layered chocolate cake to boot!

And someone (I'm not naming any names) got to have a serious taste of chocolate icing.

My World....

Two things that have caused my heart to beat a little faster this week:

Truly one of the only times (if not the only time) a movie has come close to being as wonderful as the book.

Thanks to this monstrosity, gone are the days of my beloved hard taco falling to pieces while I try to eat it.

PS: the ol ticker might be ticking a bit faster due to unhealthiness, but I like to think it is excitement....not saturated fat.
