back in the day......

Here is what I want:

I want the Kurt Russell from Overboard..... "Arturo!"

The only Patrick Swayze I want is the one that says "Nobody puts Baby in the corner".

(OK....sometimes I will accept the Patrick Swayze from Ghost but only because he comes with Whoopi.)

The Val Kilmer from the terribly awesome movie that is Willow. Val as Madmartigan is pretty much the bees knees for this little lady.

(slightly embarrassed that I know the character name....but I'm a sucker for sci-fi!)

Chicken Noodle Soup just won't do.

Tonight I need something else to warm my soul.

Something with a little umph, a kick, a pop.....something worthy of jazz hands

(in case you don't know exactly what jazz hands are)

What is that something you ask?

Well it's my old friend Chicken Corn Chowder of course!

served with a toasted sliced of Cheddar Cheese Bread

Looks good huh?

It just so happens to NOT be a secret family recipe so here you go!

GROCERY LIST:

*2 T margarine or butter

*1 small onion (finely chopped...1/4 cup)

*1 1/2 t ground cumin

*1/2 lb. of boneless, skinless chicken breast (cut into 1 inch pieces)

*2 large sweet potatoes (peeled and cut into 1 inch pieces)

*1 can (14.5 oz) of ready-to-serve chicken broth

*1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream

*2 t chili powder

*1/4 t salt

*1 can (16 oz) of CREAM STYLE corn

*1 can (4 oz) of chopped green chilies (drained)

*1 cup of shredded Monterey Jack cheese

*chopped fresh cilantro (optional)

HOW TO

Melt margarine/butter in dutch oven over medium heat. Cook onion, cumin & chicken for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until chicken is no longer pink in the center.

Stir in sweet potatoes & broth. Heat to a boil, reduce heat to low, cover and simmer about 8 minutes (or until potatoes are tender).

Stir in remaining ingredients (except cheese & cilantro) and cook until hot.

Gradually stir in cheese just until melted.

Sprinkle with cilantro (optional)

ENJOY!

(NOTE: this is a recipe that is GREAT for doubling and feeding lots and lots and lots of people)

(SIDENOTE: I definitely always think there isn't enough liquid at first.....stick it out and once you add the cream and cream style corn the soup will get more "soupy")

Not to worry Kitty....I saved you a container full of this golden goodness.

Why I'm Kicking Myself Right Now......

A CONVERSATION

WHERE: Nordstrom

WHEN: the day after Thanksgiving (madness!)

WHAT: the Free People "Grandpa Cardigan"

WHY: I'm trying on the sweater I have been drooling over for 3 months

sorry for the tiny pic

(the girl in the other picture I found had a scary look on her face)

Court: "Is this not the greatest thing ever!?!?!? It fits perfect! I can wear it with leggins and the brown boots Stone is giving me for Christmas."

Madre: "Court, you HAVE to get that."

Court: "I really really really want it."

Madre: "Get it!"

Court: "I can't."

Madre: (gives me the shocked face)

Court: "I really shouldn't be buying anything for myself right now since we are Christmas shopping."

Madre: "Is it on sale?"

Court: "Yeah. It used to be $160 and now it is $70."

Madre: "Case closed.....GET IT! I'll even go halvesies on it."

Court: "MOM! Get real...you are NOT going halvesies on this!"

Madre: "It's really cute and you need it!"

Court: (as I remove the sweater) "No, I'm buying for others today...not myself."

Madre: "You're gonna regret it."

Damn right I regret!

I spent an absurd amount of time online today (while at work) searching for this sweater.

Oh, I found it! NOT ON SALE AND NOT IN MY SIZE!!!!!

Mothers really do know best!

BBBBRRRRR!

We had our first REALLY BIG snow storm of the year yesterday/last night.

If I were 10 and still in school I would be basking in the glory of a snow day right now.

Those days are long gone.

HELLO adulthood/Corporate America!

Thank you for slapping me in the face and informing me that in fact you DON'T care my teeny tiny little engine that could of car didn't/almost couldn't make the trek this morning through un-plowed streets and DEFINITELY un-plowed side streets. You most certainly don't care that Stone has a snow day today and all I wanted was to be couped up in our cozy house with him!

On the plus side......

During the little mini-blizzard last night I decided to be domestic and whip up some tasty Cheddar Cheese Bread.

Seeeeee!.....doesn't it look tasty??? (I didn't think one photo did it justice)

Go here if you would like to make this goodness too.

OH, I also attempted to document Stone digging a path for my car to get out of the garage this morning.

I failed....too many flurries and I was in a hurry due to shivering in my undies at the door (the neighbors got a show!). If you look really really really close you can see Stone working his little heart out (in a grey hoodie).

holding pattern.....

Lately I've been feeling as if I'm in limbo.

I'm waiting for something to happen.

I don't want this to be confused as me being bored because I'm not.

(well, sometimes on a random Monday night when I have nothing to do and any show that I would want to watch...."How I Met Your Mother"....is a re-run then I might be bored)

I'm just waiting patiently for......

My girlfriends to get serious (or more serious) with their BF's and take the next step, whatever that might be for them.

My brother's wife to announce she is brewing a little person in her belly.

My job to go one way or another.

Friends to tell us they are going to have a baby.

Spring

Mostly though, I'm waiting for me to get baby fever.

My current "baby fever temperature" is at about 99.5....nothing to seek a doc about

almosts......

Saturday:

*I almost tried a new sushi place (Miyagi's) but the peeps who run the restaurant decided to play a silly trick on me and NOT be open for lunch on Saturdays or Sundays.

*I almost went to the Naked Tchopstix on the north side but they too decided to NOT be open for lunch on Saturday.

(note: they possible WERE open but since the open sign was not on, the parking lot lacked parked cars and it was too cold to get out to check if the door was unlocked we went to the regular Tchoptix location)

*It was almost made official that I am the single worst bowler in history.

I'm 2 points from "pro status" on Wii bowling. Clearly the flick of the wrist Wii bowling has done nothing but horrible things for my real live bowling game.....I never broke 70 on the scoreboard

On the plus side, we got to spend Saturday night with friends and had a grand time.

(Sorry my little Katie Jean that you weren't/aren't feeling very well and couldn't join in on the fun!)

CJ & Jennie (my bro & his wife/my friend) getting ready to hit some pins!

Abby celebrating her STRIKE!....her and her mad skills kept the girls team afloat

Kitty, me, Abby and Jennie....holding our "balls". (I guess Jennie didn't get the scarf memo)

Sunday:

*I almost had a Butterfinger Blizzard from Dairy Queen but due to my #1 UN-resolution (to get in shape) I thought it best to pass.

(plus DQ was closed....that is the real reason)

On a completely non-related note:

Isn't this a silly picture of The Bitch?

Well done Kitty!

PS: the first step to my UN-resolution #2 (learn to sew) was made yesterday. My mom-in-law is letting me borrow her sewing machine and I picked it up last night.

DECISIONS, DECISIONS, DECISIONS

Currently mounted to the ceiling of our bedroom is a wooden/brass monstrosity some people might call a fan.

I call it heinous.

It's WAY to big for the room.

(in the summer when it is going full blast I have to make note NOT to remove my shirt whilst standing directly under it.....that is, if I want to keep my hands)

I should probably fill you in on what sort of home we live in.

We live in a little 3 bedroom 1.5 bathroom bungalow. The upstairs is an "attic conversion", which equals the ceilings upstairs are a bit lower than the norm.

(aka: I have no problem standing up, raising my hands above my head and touching the ceiling....I'm 5'7")

I would love nothing more than to walk upstairs right now and take a hammer to the Big Bertha of a ceiling fan hanging in our bedroom.

Sadly this is not an option.

Due to our upstairs' dark, hot, muggy past (as an attic) a fan is a must.

I have decided to replace Big Bertha with a lightLESS ceiling fan (just a simple white wooden discreet diddy).

For a light source in the room I have chosen bedside lamps.

Well, I have not actually been able to decide on the lamps....but I do know the style I am in the market for.
Something similar to these:

This little beauty is one of two which can be found at this Etsy shop.

Check here for this little sweet pea of a lamp.

This curvy lamp is from here too.

(note: not buying the shades in the pictures with the lamps....that's a whole separate fiasco!)

PS: Stone is watching the boob tube while I am typing this post. He just got sucked into an infomercial, leaned over to me and said:

"Court, we need a ShamWow."

ha!

Wednesday, January 21, 2009

I'm only 7 pages (and 3 glasses of wine) in to this little diddy but so far so good!!! Thank you Katie Jean (my little teeny tiny bean!) for purchasing this for me!!!

I'll keep you posted on all of the awesome wine knowledge that I gain.

first "bit-o-trivia":
The exact where, when and why of wine's discovery is not known.
One of the many myths: The tale of a Persian princess who became so stressed out that she tried to kill herself by eating some rotting grapes; instead of dying, she forgot all her worries, and soon wine became the Persian Prozac

I might be guilty of doing a little online browsing while at work today.

(and by might I mean slap the cuffs on me and take me to jail: GUILTY AS CHARGED!)

I happened upon this sweet tea kettle made by Martha....our favorite felon.

Used to be $50.00 marked down to $19 and I got it for $6.....that's right SIX DOLLARS!!!!

I remembered on my way into Macy's after work that I had a little cash left over on a gift card from a Christmas return.

Oh how the sweet taste of a bargain pleases me so!!!!

THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE....

I was given the "Honest Scrap" award by Andrea a few days ago and hadn't had a chance to post about it....then I got a little comment from Saskia and she gave me the award too! Thank you ladies!

It's time to stop dragging my feet and post post post!

The rules...

1) Choose a minimum of 7 blogs that you find brilliant in content or design.

2) Show the 7 winners names and links on your blog, and leave a comment informing them that they were prized with "Honest Scrap." Well, there's no prize, but they can keep the nifty icon.

3) List at least 10 honest things about yourself.

HONEST THINGS ABOUT COURT:

1. I am the youngest of four children and therefore find myself quite spoiled....not rotten though.

2. I have a serious addiction to People.com & UsMagazine.com....I know it is crap but I can't stop looking at it!!!

3. When watching a movie in which the lead male character has an Irish brogue I can't help but get slightly angry with Stone that he doesn't have an Irish brogue. I know....ab-so-lute-ly absurd but it's the truth and that's what this post is about.

4. I am totally the kind of person that when at the mall I will go to the food court, take a lap around all the vendors (just to get the free samples) and then I will leave.

5. I must (100 % MUST) shave my legs every. single. day. It gives me the heeby jeebies if I don't.

6. If I could sit on the beach or at the pool everyday with a book and a cold brew I would be the happiest girl in all the land. (sometimes I actually get mildly angry that I have to go to work and that I really can't do the sunbathing noted above)

7. I went to school for Massage Therapy....but currently am a paper-pusher

8. As cliche as it sounds....Not only was my wedding day the happiest day of my life but I have also never felt more beautiful and in my skin than I did in my wedding dress. It was everything I had hoped for and more. (and Stone's reaction to my wedding day "look" was exactly what I had hoped/prayed for)

9. I got a "free" shirt from Target last night and I feel kind of bad about it. NO, I DID NOT STEAL IT! The lady ringing me up didn't scan one of the t-shirts I had on the check out counter. I didn't notice the slip until I was walking out of the store.....and I just.... kept.... walking.....

10. I can count on my two hands the number of times I have gone down to the basement in our house. (we have lived there for going on 2 years) It is seriously the scariest place. It is unfinished and only a quarter of it is concrete. The other parts are crawlspace and just dirt. I'm terrified of looking in there and seeing two eyes staring back at me. So scared in fact that half of the times I have been down there someone has gone with me.....Stone, a friend and one time I forced my niece Laney (she is 9) to go with and when I ran back up the stairs I had no qualms with leaving her in the dust. What sort of "grown up" am I!?!?!?!

OK, so there it is.....the truth (sometimes ugly) about Court.

I am passing this "Honest Scrap Award" to:

Question?

Is it wrong of me to seriously encourage a friend to purchase an item of clothing because I too want it but don't want to spend the money and I know that if they buy it I can borrow it???

HHHMMMMM.....

Something to ponder.

Goodies....

Saturday took me and Kitty to Midland Arts & Antiques in downtown Indy.

It's basically a GIANT warehouse chalk full of stuff. (which is freezing by the way...no clue how the guys working there can stand it all day)

I say stuff because there is a lot of crap.

note: the "crap" comment is my personal opinion...like the saying goes "one person's trash is another person's treasure".

However, there is also bunches and bunches of awesome stuff....I would most certainly purchase all of it if money were to start growing on trees.

I found a retro sofa which I yearned to purchase but I knew certain people (Stone) would not be too happy with this lady if I showed up with such a LARGE purchase. Plus it was a deep red color and we already have a red sofa in our front room....might be a bit overkill on the red.

I did however decide to buy the following items in preparation for my tea party this spring.

(more on the tea party closer to the date)

such a cute little scalloped edged cake stand I couldn't pass it up

I couldn't NOT purchase this tea cup!...it has a beautiful Asian scene painted on it (Kitty has already called "DIBS" that this is her cup)

this little diddy is oh so classy

I actually purchased the little birdie cup at Anthropologie after we left Midland....cute huh?!

I also purchased an antique 6 drawer dresser for my Madre, but I failed to take a photo of it before dropping it off at her place. It was only $55.00!!!!....WHAT A STEAL!

Oh, and I almost forgot!

A few months back I posted about a little photo project I had planned for my dining room wall......

I finished it last night and I am tickled pink with the result!!!!

All of the prints (which are of doors) are from different Etsy shops and I love love love everyone of them! I'm so happy with how it turned out. I might add one more print to the bottom left corner but I'm not sure yet.

A Conversation:

Banner: What do you think?

Court: You look great!....have you lost weight?

Banner: No, (in a whisper) I had a little work done.

Court: You did! Oh my gosh....now that you said something you do look refreshed. Not too much and not too little...just right. Who did you go to?

Banner: Well, this other banner that I comment with (over at Saskia's Spot) had some work done by Lyndsay and I thought it looked super cute so I thought I would get a little spruced up too! I contemplated doing a complete overhaul and having my background done too but I was afraid that might be a bit much at my age. I decided on just a little dye job....what do you think about the blue? To retro? To vibrant?

Court: Oh goodness no! You look H-O-T! Well done Lyndsay!

"Shake your groove thang....yah yah!"

HAPPY HAPPY FRIDAY!

*this week has been chuggin along at a snails pace for some reason. I've been quite busy at work so the days F.......L......Y by. For some heinous reason though I never thought Friday was going to get here. ("Everybody's working for the weekend!"....are words I live by)

(on Wed. I was talking to a vendor at work and she mentioned she wouldn't be able to take care of the issue we were discussing until Fri. She apologized that she couldn't do it the next day...Thurs. Well she basically took a giant pin out of her pocket and burst my bubble! I had been thinking ALL DAY long that it was THURSDAY and I was that much closer to the weekend!....needless to say, I was upset)

*since it is freezing here in the Midwest (it was -9 this morning on my way to work....that wasn't the wind chill, it was the ACTUAL TEMPERATURE!) I have been day dreaming all day long about being back here on our honeymoon:

We went to Antigua and it was AMAZING!!!....this is the view from the pool

Yup, that is what you think it is on Stone's arm. A little seagull pooped on him while we were at the pool. To be perfectly honest, that is the reason I wouldn't mind being back there right now. It was HILARIOUS!!!

(sorry for the topless shot of my man...hee hee!)

*The very first "discussion meeting" for my book club was last night. Members of this book club are: Me, Katie Jean, my Madre and two of her friends (Karen & Julie). Things escalated and the book we read (Water for Elephants) was pushed aside to discuss "other things". All you need to know about said "other things" is they involved:

-old people.......naked

-cooking with just an apron on (WOAH!)

-machetes (not in relation to nude cooking mentioned above)

The meeting got WILDLY out of control.

HAVE A ROCKIN WEEKEND!!!!!

Not the same at all...but sorta

I am guilty of pretty much letting Matilda do whatever she wants (so is Stone).

I don't let her bring toys upstairs. She does anyway and I throw them back down.

I don't let her drink out of the toilet. She doesn't try, but if she did I would yell "NO!"

Other than that The Bitch pretty much rules the roost.

I fear I have created a monster.

I can't help it!

I love to come home and have her be so excited to see me she just jumps and jumps and jumps all over me. I love it when she puts her little paws up on my legs whilst gazing up at me with that "You know I'm too cute to quit so you might as well just scratch me behind my ears" look.

She begs while we are eating and if no one is looking I usually give her a little bite.

She is definitely welcome on the couch....she is great at keeping me warm while taking a nap so I can't not let her up, right?

She sleeps in our bed (generally snuggled in the crook behind my knees) and when I move around in my sleep I take care not to disturb HER. Yes, you read right....I don't want to disturb HER!

I'm officially off my rocker.

(so is Stone)

I know having a puppy is NOT the same as a child.

However, since I am clearly a push over when it comes to my dog WHAT SORT OF SHENANIGANS ARE MY FUTURE CHILDREN GOING TO GET AWAY WITH!?!?!?!?!

BITS & PIECES

(get your minds out of the gutter...I don't mean those bits & pieces!)

*I failed at life tonight. We need food, but I couldn't do it. I hate the grocery. The grocery is my nemesis. Stone, being the good man that he is, took the list and went for me (us). He even brought me back Jimmy Johns for dinner!....."The Beach" on wheat OH HOW I LOVE YOU SO!

*I love nothing more than to turn the space heater on, sit down on the couch, cover my legs with a blanket and move the space heater under my blanket covered legs. Thus, creating a tent of warm air for my stems and tootsies. I know, I KNOW...it's a fire hazard. Not to worry my dearies, after a while the "heat tent" turns into a "burning my legs off tent" and I have to turn off the heat. Therefore the bliss never last for more than 10 minutes at a time.

*I would be pleased as punch if I could put Liam in my pocket and carry him around all day.

*We are getting ALL CHANNELS free right now from our cable provider (AT&T U-Verse). IT IS THE GREATEST THING EVER!!!!!!!! HBO I heart you!!!!

*Yesterday on my way TO work I passed by a house that had done some remodeling. They left a few odds and ends on the roadside for random peeps (like myself) to help themselves to. Thank you, people down the street, for providing me with an old window pane that I will hang in my guest bedroom. NO thank you, for also leaving a dirty old toilet on the roadside.....GAG! I passed on taking that gem home. UGH!

High Roller....

Indiana doesn't allow casinos.

They do however allow "Casinos".

Confusing huh?

The "casino" has to be on water (aka: riverboat casino) or has to be electric (as in, no actual chips/cards are used...it's all digital on a computer screen)

It's dumb.

I for one am not a gambler....I'd rather actually buy something (ie: shoes) with my money.

I will however take a trip to a "casino" for/with my dad.

Saturday landed us at a "casino" about an hour east of Indianapolis....it was my pop's birthday and that is what he wanted to do so we all loaded into the car (madre was our DD) and off to the "casino" we went!

Upon our arrival Stone handed me a $20, I got a brew and then put $1.00 (yes, you read it correctly ONE DOLLAR) into a penny slot machine.

By the way, the slot machines these days are CONFUSING! Gone are the days of the ole cherry, a gold bar and a number 7!!!!

Things started to go south so I cashed out at $0.40 (ha!...I'm absurd).

I then attempted to find a slot machine that didn't look impossible hard to manage. I happened upon one with dinosaurs on it and put my $0.40 in.

How hard can that be? I mean come on dinosaurs?!?!?!....piece of cake!

In reality I had no idea what I was doing and just kept hitting random buttons, all the while my sister stood behind me laughing/cheering me on.

(I'm sure we were a site to see)

I won 13 free games, learned that multiple dinosaurs in a row (up, down or side to side) are good AND that the machine RRRRROOOOOAAARRRRs T-Rex style when you win.

Lady Luck was on my side and I won $7.87!!!!

Oh yeah...you can bet your bottom dollar I cashed out and called it a night with those winnings!!!

note: sorry no pictures...the "casino secret service" said they would take my camera away if I took any pics.

BIRTHDAYS, BIRTHDAYS and more BIRTHDAYS!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!!!!

(if you are keeping track that is three this week!)

His name is Michael (Mike) and I think he looked DASHING at my wedding.

yes, I really have curly hair....I'm currently growing it out, so I'm in between hairstyles right now.

My dad....I can't say enough about this fine fella.

He is always good for a laugh (and he has the best laugh).

He can fix anything, and I mean ANYTHING.

He is the best dad a girl could ask for.

I love you to the moon and back!

MUAH!

System Overload:

I'm not a naturally creative person.

Does that make sense?

I can make things and cook things (no way in hell can a draw or paint) but when it comes to actually coming up with the ideas myself.....I just wasn't born with that gift.

I wish I were.

What I can do however is see someone else's masterpiece and try my damnedest to recreate it in my own (not as awesome) way.

Is it possible for one's head to pop off due to overload of borrowed ideas rolling around inside it?

If yes, I better tighten the scarf around my neck to keep my cabeza in place (sorry to be so graphic).

I am being taken over by other people's creativity!!!!

THANK YOU PEOPLE OF THE WORLD WIDE WEB!

sidebar: my mom still calls it that.

Mom: "Hey Court, can you look up Julie's address on the World Wide Web for me?"

CURRENTLY LOVING:

Don't these painted ceiling medallions look so fun! I've wanted to recreate this in our guest bedroom for about 2 months.....I think it is time to get real and DO IT.

You've already heard about my (almost crazy) love for this lady and her designs. Here is a taste of what I want the pillows (I will be making for my new couch) to look like.

OH! Stone, did I not tell you we are getting a new couch? It must have slipped my mind! OOPS!

I'm going gah gah over the broaches I found here. I tend to steer clear of patterns when choosing my wardrobe (they make me a bit nervous). I usually accessorize with funky earrings or shoes. I've decided to add a few lovely broaches to my repertoire. I'm going to seriously try to make a few myself....this should be interesting!

MISMATCH THURSDAY

To be completely honest I didn't even try this morning.

To match that is.

It's cold, I was tired and I work with a bunch of men....what do they know about fashion?

I have on this shirt:

With these boots:

HA!

TIDBIT: I have found this to be most interesting over the past few days.

I'm not calling it a resolution....

I've decided to attempt to better myself in a few ways this year, but I REFUSE to call them resolutions.

Lets get serious.

Resolutions are NOT usually kept.

Therefore I thought it best to not go around labeling the following things I hope to do.

#1

Seriously try to get in shape. Once the wedding was over with and I no longer had to fit into the dress I was in hog heaven. Literally. I pretty much have been eating whatever I want just like a little piggly wiggly.

The biggest incentive for me to whip this bod into shape (other than the obvious: I can't afford to buy all new jeans if I go up a size) we are taking a little vacation with friends to Hilton Head, SC this spring. I'm having a minor panic attack at the thought of squeezing myself into a swimsuit and our friends running in terror with their arms flailing when they see me.

#2

Learn to sew.

I feel slightly cheated that I was never taught as a child (oh, think of all things I could be making now).

Madre, you were cheated too so no hard feelings....I still love you.

I have recently become completely obsessed (not psycho style, but close) with Anna Maria Horner's fabric and pretty much everything she makes.

Example:

Is this dress/fabric not the cutest thing you have ever seen!??!?! I'm completely drooling over it.

I've been day dreaming about getting a new couch (solid color) and loading it with pillows made out of these fabrics:

Then covering our settee in one of these:

If you want to see more of what this amazing lady has to offer you can go here or here.

So here is to a new year and to attempting (heavy on the attempt) to better myself.

Cheers!

HOLY BIRTHDAYS!

Today is a good day.

Today is Stone's birthday.

I thought it only fair to post a little "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" ditty to him.

Whilst searching through my photos, thinking of him and his day, I came across something interesting.

Perhaps I spoke too soon the other day......

Stone age 10 months

This picture says it all!

Happy 29th Birthday my love!

Happy B-Day to Mi Madre!

Her name is Michele (with one "L" and don't you forget it!)
Didn't she look sassy at my wedding!!! I love it!

She is married to Michael...my pops
note: people have asked her if she "planned" the two of them getting married because their names are like peas and carrots (Forest Gump reference, sorry I couldn't help it). Seriously? Yes, she only dated men named Michael until she found the one for her....some peeps are just down right silly!

She is my right hand lady....and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Happy Birthday Madre!
I love you this much!
(I'm stretching my arms out as far as they can reach!)

a thousand words???

I realized the other day that I have never told you about the man who stole my heart.

Yes I have shown you a few pictures, but that won't do.

A picture won't tell you all of the best things about him.

It won't tell you how kind he is.

It won't tell you how no one in the world can make me laugh as much as he does. Or how my heart soars when I make him laugh so hard he gets tears in his eyes...it's the best feeling

It won't tell you how when I have had a long day he is the light at the end of the tunnel.

It won't tell you how when I have seen or heard something that makes me scared all I want to do is find him and have him hold me. Having his arms around me makes it all better.

It won't tell you how wonderful he is.....he does the laundry because he knows how spooked I get going down to the basement (you would be scared too if you saw it!)

It won't tell you how when we are in the car he turns the music up and asks me to sing to him....even though he knows I sing off key and always mess the words up

No.

A picture just doesn't say enough about that man of mine.
